“I truly fell in love with my motherhood. And with myself within it”
A mother's story from the Portrait of Motherhood Archive
Portrait of Motherhood is an international cultural archive dedicated to preserving the stories of motherhood through photography, personal testimonies and artistic practice.
We believe every mother's experience deserves to be seen, remembered and shared. By collecting photographs and stories from around the world, we are creating a living archive for future generations.

Help us preserve the story of motherhood for future generations.
Every story matters.
I stopped allowing myself to be exhausted,
to get sick, or to put my life on hold.
